VIGNA
A 1940s British cabinet reframed through contemporary structure and disciplined order.
Vigna reinterprets a 1940s English display cabinet through contemporary materials. While its wooden body and glass surfaces retain historical character, stainless steel shelves and slender metal legs redefine the structure with a modern framework.

THE ORIGIN
1940’s British Vitrine

Originally designed for storage, the cabinet's interior is reconfigured with stainless steel shelving, while its wooden body and glass surfaces continue to openly carry traces of the past. Wine here does not appear as an object on display.
It accepts its place, its sequence, and its state of waiting. The thin metal legs gently lift the cabinet from the ground, while the shelving system invites reflection on time and order. Vigna does not imitate history, it transports it into the present.
